I love visiting Peter Luger; the quality of their meat is excellent, the service is top-notch, everyone is friendly and quick. I love the Bloody Mary here and the apple strudel with cream; always ask for cream. I recommend making a reservation in advance and bringing cash, as they do not accept cards.

I don't feel it's all that anymore. I don't like if you want to order a single steak it's only NY strip. They dont take credit cards which I don't get, especially we spent almost $400 for 2 people. The temperature of the steaks are perfect. We both got rib eye steaks, side of mushrooms and broccoli and bacon strip for an appetizer. The martinis were great, but small glasses. My husband said the 2nd best steak he had. The cut of meat was excellent, but I felt no flavor. . Our server was fantastic, professional, funny, A+

크리스마스 시즌이라 굉장히 붐비고 정신이 없었습니다. 예약을 하고 갔지만, 예약 시간보다 20분 정도 늦게 착석할 수 있었습니다. 왜 늦어졌는지에 대한 어떠한 코멘트도 해주지 않아 아쉬웠습니다. 화장실 바로 앞자리에 앉게 되었는데, 이것이 우연이었는지 아니면 다른 이유가 있었는지는 모르겠지만, 예약 시간보다 늦게 안내받은 자리치고는 꽤 불편해서 기분이 좋진 않았습니다. Lamb Chops은 예상보다 맛있어서 만족스러웠습니다! 스테이크가 기름지지만 소스와 함께 먹으니 잘어울려 생각보다 많이 먹을 수 있었습니다. 다만, 서버 중 한 명은 꽤 불쾌한 태도를 보여 아쉬웠습니다. (다른 직원들은 전반적으로 괜찮았습니다.) 양이 꽤 많지만 포장도 가능하니 참고하세요. (저희는 맛있게 다 먹었습니다!) 맛은 좋았지만, 명성에 비해 매장 관리나 운영은 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 둘이서 팁 포함 $300 지불했고, 미국 데빗카드로 결제했습니다.

I received poor treatment, and I find it offensive.” “Despite the extremely poor service, they insisted that I pay a tip. Their demands were unreasonable. I will never return, and I will not visit their Tokyo location either. This level of disrespect is unacceptable.”

Walked in without a reservation around 1pm on a Wednesday and waited about 20 minutes for table. The gentleman working the front was very kind, and even asked how everything was on the way out. Taking the first bite of steak, no words had to be said, just nods to each other…. Was speechless!!! The steak was amazing. Would definitely come here again.

I had a delicious hamburger here today. I invited my coworker for a well-deserved break—perfectly prepared, medium-rare real beef. We said nothing during our lunch, only the raising of eyebrows and nods of our heads. Try one and see. Don't add a thing.

I have to start by saying wow and that I haven’t been here since we blew up a bus for a scene in the movie “The Siege” with Denzel Washington and Bruce Willis and at that time I had the steak which was amazing. But this time around I had a cheeseburger and that was by far the best burger I had in a long time thank you Peter Luger I will definitely be back

resy앱을 통해서 예약을하였습니다. 40분가량 일찍 도착했고 대기바 장소에도 사람이 많아서 걱정했는데 입장시켜주셨습니다. 저희를 담당한 직원분은 매우 유쾌하였고 친절하였습니다. 2명이서 포터하우스for2와 크림 스피니치, 저먼 포테이토, 생맥주 여러잔 시켰습니다. 고기는 국룰인 미디움레어로시켰는데 익힘정도 아주 좋았고, 두꺼운 고기인데 야들야들 아주 맛있게 잘먹었습니다. 피터루거 소스도 맛있어서 물릴때쯤 같이먹으니 괜찮았습니다. 크림 스피니치는 저는 무난했고 한국분들이 잘 안시키는 저먼 포테이토는 짭짤하면서 양이많고 무난했습니다. 맥주도 다 무난무난 좋았습니다. 점심에는 정말 한국분들이 많다고 들었는데 저녁도 마찬가지로 한국분들 정말많으시고요 저는 뭐 크게 신경안써서 상관없었습니다. 아 그리고 생각보다 뼈에 고기가 많이붙어있는데요 제가 칼로 낑낑대며 자르니 그냥 들고 먹으라고해서 들고 잘발라 먹었습니다ㅋㅋ 맛있게 잘먹었습니다.

We came to Peter Luger for the famous lunch burger, which was very good in the way a reliable friend is good--solid, dependable, but not about to change your life or inspire you to call your mother. Then the steak for four arrived and immediately reminded the burger it was merely an opening act. These steaks operate on a higher plane of existence--crusty on the outside, tender on the inside, and confident in a way I wish I was at job interviews. We ordered all the sides because apparently self-control stayed home that day. Most were great, though the German potatoes were seasoned like they were auditioning for a salt commercial. Still ate them, obviously. The Bloody Mary deserves its own award for carrying me emotionally and spiritually after the previous night's "responsible decision-making." Pro move: take the steak bones home. They make a soup so good it might repair broken relationships. And the leftovers? Somehow the steak was still incredible the next day, which feels unfair to every other food I've ever reheated. Between the old-school vibe, the unapologetic portions, and meat that could probably run for office, Peter Luger remains a place where your wallet gets lighter but your soul gets heavier--in the best possible way.

Not sure what all the hype is about. The service, ambiance, and food were all terrible. There are so many good restaurants in the city. Please save your money and take it elsewhere. Steak was fatty and unseasoned, there is absolutely no ambiance, and prices are not worth it at all.
